This event has been cancelled

Greetings everyone and Happy New Year! The past 2 years we have been fortunate to host Fat Bike Worlds with ideal winter conditions. As you all know this year has been far from ideal in terms of snowfall. It takes time and planning as well as cooperation from Mother Nature to prepare a course that preserves the beautiful New Richmond Golf Club and provides a first class experience for our participants. Unfortunately, without the cooperation of Mother Nature we have made the decision to cancel our 2024 Border Battle event. It takes weeks to prepare the course and without significant snow in the forecast we have run out of time. As many of you know we are now in a situation in which we have invested heavily in a brand new UTV to provide a trail for the event and our local community during the entire winter season. The success of our race event is the major fundraiser to pay for that equipment. Without the event we are obviously in a challenging situation. Due to cancelling the event we will offer all registrants complimentary entry into the 2025 event. Hosting Fat Bike Worlds has been an incredible opportunity for our local community and the entire cycling community. It’s our intent to keep this momentum going forward with our Border Battle event.
